Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) inaugurates Al-Qowz Water Project in Marib governorate

Yesterday, Monday, Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) team and a delegation from the Turkish Religious Foundation visited Saba Region University in Marib to review the needs and the potential interventions regarding educational aspects and sustainable projects at the university.
Saba Region University Rector, Dr. Muhammad Hamoud Al-Qadsi, welcomed both CRB’s team and the Turkish Religious Foundation delegation, and briefed them on the University establishment, colleges, departments, and scientific fields.
Dr. Al-Qadsi reviewed the most important basic needs that would improve university educational process, focusing on three main tracks: infrastructure, building and furnishing classrooms; training and development of administrative and academic staff; and developing academic programs and curricula.
On the other hand, CRB team and the Turkish Religious Foundation (Turkiye Diyanet Vakfi) delegation presented an overview of their interventions and action fields in humanitarian aspects, sustainable development projects, and community recovery, in Marib and different Yemeni governorates.
Partnership mechanism and the ways to enhance joint cooperation between Turkish Religious Foundation, Coalition of Relief and Building and Saba Region University were discussed, as they would contribute significantly to developing education and improving the academic level of government-run universities.
It is worth noting that the same team visited Kara general Hospital in Marib governorate, in a separate visit to identify the hospital’s needs and what could be intervened in with regard to emergency health aspects and sustainable projects.
