The Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB), with support from Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı, today implemented a project to distribute school bags and uniforms in Marib, as part of ongoing efforts to support education and contribute to the stability of the educational process in Yemen.
The distribution was carried out in the presence of the Deputy Director General of the Marib Education Office, representatives of the Executive Unit for the Management of Displaced Persons Camps, Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı representative Mohamed Bahauddin, as well as representatives of several government institutions and community figures.
The project provides students from the most vulnerable families with school bags containing essential educational supplies, along with complete school uniforms. A total of 600 students in Marib benefited from the initiative, which is part of a wider project providing 1,000 school bags across Marib, Aden, and Lahj.
The project aims to support education and promote greater stability for students from families facing difficult living conditions, particularly in communities heavily affected by displacement as a result of deteriorating livelihoods and the worsening humanitarian situation in Yemen.
During the launch, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Bakri, Deputy Director of the Marib Education Office, expressed his appreciation to Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı and CRB for their valuable contribution to supporting education in the governorate. He also commended the significant efforts made by both organizations across various humanitarian and development sectors.
