Yesterday, Sunday, Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB)  implemented the school bag project in Taiz governorate, as part of the ongoing efforts to support education and enhance the educational process stability in Yemen.

The project was launched in the presence of: director general of Taiz governorate Education Office, Mr. Abdul-Wasie Shaddad; Sala district director general, engineer Aref Al-Yousfi; director general of Taiz Social Affairs and Labor Office, Mr. Abdo Ali; director of Sala district   Education Sub-office, Mr. Muhammad Abdo Hassan; and a number of civil society organizations representatives in the governorate.

The project targeted 1,000 male and female students from the most vulnerable social groups, as part of the education support projects implemented by CRB in a number of Yemeni governorates.

This project includes the distribution of complete school bags containing all school tools and supplies, and integrated school uniforms for male and female students from the most needy families and it is funded by Turkish Religious Foundation and implemented by Coalition of Relief and Building.

The school bag project aims to support education and enhance stability for male and female students whose families suffering from difficult conditions in the most affected communities stemming from the living conditions deterioration and the rise of the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.

It is noteworthy that the school bag project covered the governorates of  Aden, Hadramout, Taiz, Marib, Hodeida and Al Mahrah, providing 5,000 integrated multi-varieties bags for students of displaced families and the host community.
