Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) convened a meeting on Wednesday, with Al-Kuraimi Islamic Microfinance Bank and Al-Amal Microfinance Bank to discuss the experience of banking institutions in financing and implementing small projects in the field of economic empowerment.
The meeting included Dr. Ibrahim Al-Sharafi, General Manager of CRB, Mr. Rafid Al-Tam, Director of Al-Kuraimi Islamic Microfinance Bank, and Mr. Malik Al-Ward, Director of Al-Amal Microfinance Bank. The meeting took place at the head office of CRB in Marib. Project Manager (CRB) and Head of Economic Empowerment Projects Branch (CRB) were also present in the meeting.
This meeting was aimed to strengthen cooperation and coordination, as well as to discuss the idea and experiences of implementing small projects in the field of economic empowerment .
Method and ways of financing small projects, understanding the possible challenges and obstacles, and the mechanism for selecting beneficiaries for microfinance projects have been discussed in the meeting.
The General Manager of CRB expressed his satisfaction with the outcomes of the meeting, emphasizing CRB’s commitment to enhancing collaboration with banking institutions to empower people economically, to contribute to the rehabilitation of society, and to achieve sustainable development goals.
The directors of Al-Kuraimi Bank and Al-Amal Bank expressed their readiness to collaborate and implement microfinance projects in the field of economic empowerment. They also commended the efforts of Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) and its contributions to serving the community.
