Today, Thursday, Deputy Governor of Marib for Administrative Affairs Abdullah Al-Bakeri inaugurated six housing units for people with special needs in the governorate, which were implemented by Coalition of Relief & Building (CRB) funded by the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY).

During the inauguration ceremony, the Deputy Governor, Al-Bakri praised the housing units project implemented by CRB for families of displaced people and indigent people with special needs, thanking everyone who contributed in the implementation, funding and completion of the project, calling on all organizations to make people with special needs a priority of their concerns and to accommodate them with their projects and humanitarian interventions.

CRB Director General Mohamed Makharesh said that the inauguration of the six housing units comes within the humanitarian interventions of CRB that aim to develop sustainable solutions for people with special needs, stressing that the number of housing units delivered to beneficiaries with special needs during the current year 2022 reached 50 housing units that were implemented in several stages.

Makharesh added that each of the six housing units consists of two rooms, a kitchen, a hall and a bathroom, built of automatic block and reinforced concrete, and contains integrated furniture such as mattresses, blankets, kitchen utensils, a refrigerator, a washing machine, as well as a 32-inch screen, in addition to an integrated food basket.

For their part, the beneficiaries expressed their great happiness with the housing units that will contribute in improving their standard of living, thanking everyone who contributed in the implementation, funding and success of the project.

The inauguration was attended by the representative of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth, Yemen Office, Fahd Bamahfouz, the coordinator of the WASH sub-cluster, Yasser Al-Ameri, and the coordinator of the Shelter sub-cluster, Rawaa Ghanem.
