Coalition of Relief & Building (CRB) handed over today, Thursday, six housing units to beneficiaries with special needs, which it implemented in Ma’rib governorate with funding from the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY).

During the inauguration, CRB’s Director of Projects and Programs Managment, Mr. Sultan Jubari said that the project is part of CRB’s interventions for people with special needs, as a contribution to find sustainable solutions to their shelter problems.

Jubbari added that each housing unit consists of two rooms, a kitchen, a hall and a bathroom, built of automatic bricks and reinforced concrete.

He pointed out that these units also contain integrated furniture (mattresses, blankets, kitchen utensils, a refrigerator, a washing machine, as well as a 32-inch screen) in addition to a food basket.

Pointing out that the six housing units that will be distributed to beneficiaries during the month of October are added to the 44 housing units implemented by CRB and handed over to beneficiaries with special needs during the past two years.

During the handover, the beneficiaries expressed their happiness with these housing units, thanking the financing and implementing agencies and all those who contributed to the success of the project.
