The Director of the Educational Center in Al-Jufaina, Mohammed Sulaiman, and the Director of education cluster, Ms. Beirut Al-Maflehi inaugurated today, Monday, two additional classrooms in Ammar Bin Yasser Alternative School in Al-Jufaina camp, south of Ma’rib city, which was implemented by Coalition of Relief & Building (CRB).

Yahya Qahtan, the director of CRB office in Marib governorate welcomed the participants in the inauguration cermony, confirming that the building of two additional classrooms aimed to reduce overcrowding in the classrooms and provide the ability to increase school enrollment rate to accommodate the increasing numbers in Al Jufaina camp and contribute to improvie the quality of education in the school.

The project of expansion Ammar Bin Yasir Alternative School comes after the increase in the number of students enrolled in the school inaugurated by CRB on April 25, 2022, to contribute to eradicate illiteracy, increase the awareness rate among the displaced people, and find sustainable solutions for the education of children of displaced and poor families.

After the expansion, the school project includes includes eight classrooms, administration, store room and two bathrooms, fully furnished, with a capacity of 800 students in the morning and evening shifts.
