YemenIsCallingYou campaign distributes food baskets in Hadramaut, Abyan and Al-Bayda

YemenIsCallingYou campaign implemented a food basket distribution project for Internally displaced and poor families in the governorates of Hadramaut, Abyan and Al-Bayda.

Under the scope of this campaign 1,500 food baskets have been distributed to beneficiaries in the abovementioned governorates, 600 in Hadramout, 500 in Abyan, and 400 in Al-Bayda.

It is noteworthy that “YemenIsCallingYou” is a humanitarian campaign launched by the Al-Khair Foundation in partnership with Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB), with the participation of a number of Yemeni and Arab content makers, through the social media accounts of Yemeni poet Muhammad Al-Masmari , famous artist Ibrahim Badi also joined the fundraiser.

The campaign was launched on March 25, 2022, with the aim of raising one million dollars to help 20,000 Yemeni families, $500,000 have been raised in the first phase of the fundraiser.

The campaign aims to implement following projects: distribution of food baskets and Iftaar meals, construction of water wells, distribution of financial aid and Eid clothing for children.
