CRB Launches Drinking Water Distribution Project in Taiz and Ma’rib Governorates
August 4, 2025The Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB), in partnership with the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), has successfully implemented the fifth round of the project “Providing Life-Saving Emergency Food Assistance to the Most Vulnerable and Flood-Affected IDPs in Ma’rib City”, targeting 530 displaced families, comprising 3,710 beneficiaries, in Ma’rib City.
The cash-for-food assistance was distributed across eight camps in Jaw Al-Naseem area, with priority given to women, persons with disabilities, and the most vulnerable groups. The distribution process ensured gender equity and accountability to affected populations (AAP).
The project aims to enhance the resilience of these vulnerable IDP families affected by flooding in Marib, focusing on increasing their access to food and meeting their immediate needs.
It’s worth mentioning that this initiative is part of ongoing efforts to improve food security for displaced families, who are struggling with the devastating effects of floods and deteriorating humanitarian conditions, and to support their access to food and provide the minimum standards for a decent life.
