CRB Launches Capacity-Building Program for Civil Society Organizations in Marib

The Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB), with generous support from a philanthropist from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has successfully implemented the “Drinking Water Distribution” project to address the urgent water crisis in Taiz and Ma’rib Governorates.
This humanitarian initiative included the distribution of 750,000 liters of water in Taiz and 500,000 liters in Marib. In addition, three water distribution points were operated in various districts of Marib to meet the needs of the most vulnerable populations.
The project targeted internally displaced persons (IDPs) and host communities in areas most affected by water scarcity, as part of emergency humanitarian interventions aimed at alleviating the suffering of families living under harsh conditions due to the prolonged water crisis in both governorates.
Beneficiaries expressed deep appreciation for this humanitarian intervention, commending the efforts of CRB and the donor. They also called for expanded interventions, especially in Taiz, where the gap in water availability remains critically wide.
