On Monday, the Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) launched the “Water Supply Project” in displacement camps across Marib Governorate, generously funded by the “The Muslims in Need Association”. The initiative is part of CRB’s ongoing efforts to meet the basic humanitarian needs of displaced communities.
The project aims to address the acute water shortage in the camps by distributing 280 water tankers, providing one million liters of potable water. The  distribution will continue daily till the end of July.
This critical intervention comes in response to the dire humanitarian situation in the camps, where thousands face severe water scarcity and lack of basic infrastructure, exposing them to significant health risks.
Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the project, highlighting its importance in easing their daily hardships. They also urge the implementation of more sustainable projects to address this critical need.
The Coalition of Relief and Building reiterates its appeal to humanitarian organizations and donors to increase support for camps in Marib and other crisis-affected areas, in order to alleviate the IDPs prolonged suffering.
