Coalition of Relief and Building Successfully Concludes Dhul-Hijjah Projects, Benefiting 11,088 Individuals

Last week, the Coalition of Relief and Building  (CRB) successfully concluded its projects for the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah (1445 AH – 2024 ), supported by various humanitarian and relief entities. The projects benefited 1,773 families, comprising 11,088 individuals.

 The food basket distribution project  covered  1,675 families , comprising 10,050 individuals  in Marib Governorate’s IDPs camps.  While the water supply project covered 55 families, with 330 beneficiaries through previously-established water distribution points in various neighborhoods, in Marib.

The cash assistance distribution project benefited. 11 families, totaling 66 beneficiaries, from poor, deprived and war-affected families in IDPs camps. While the Eid clothing project included 250 beneficiaries, lacking basic needs  due to  the ongoing war in the country  and its negative economic impacts.

The orphan sponsorship project also benefited 200 orphans, who lost their breadwinners. The project contributed to their needs and alleviating their suffering.

Dr. Kamal Al-Qudmi, Head of Coalition of Relief and Building, expressed his satisfaction with the projects’ success. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in improving the lives of poor families, providing  them withr their needs, and alleviating their burdens amidst the ongoing conflict.

These projects aimed to provide essential support to poor and deprived families, particularly the displaced and affected, during the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. By doing so, CRB contributed to meeting their necessary requirements, alleviating the suffering of displacement, and mitigating the difficulty of economic conditions.
