Coalition of Relief and Building Successfully Concludes Dhul-Hijjah Projects, Benefiting 11,088 Individuals
July 2, 2024Coalition of Relief and Building concluded, today, Wednesday, the sacrificial animal distribution project for the year 1445 AH – 2024 , with the support of many bodies working in the humanitarian and relief field, and many philanthropists in some generous countries.
The project included (64,084) families, from poor and needy families, comprising 384,504 beneficiary individuals, in the governorates of Marib, Hadhramaut, Aden, Taiz, Hajjah, and Hodeida, as residents in those governorates suffer from the woes of displacement and difficult conditions due to the ongoing war in the country.
The project aimed to provide some basic needs to the poor and the deprived families, especially the displaced and affected, and to meet their necessary requirements during the days of Eid Al-Adha, and to alleviate the IDPs’ suffering and difficult economic conditions.
Dr. Kamal Al-Qudami the head of CRB, expressed his great delight with the project’s success , highlighting its significance in improving the lives of poor families and providing relief to those affected by the ongoing war in Yemen.
In a press statement to the CRB Humanitarian Media Center, Al-Qudami said ”CRB works through its humanitarian and development projects to achieve the principle of solidarity and provide relief to affected families in Yemen, especially in the governorates that suffer from high pace of displacement and difficult conditions.”
He pointed out in his speech that the sacrificial animal project contributed significantly to alleviating the heavy burden on thousands of families. He thanked all the supporting parties that make the project’s success, as it came at a time when millions of Yemeni families live below the poverty line, according to the United Nations classifications.
Al-Qudami appreciated the efforts of those in charge of this unique and large project and those working in the field. He praised the great role of volunteers and supporters for their contributions to the project’s success.
In the same context, a Turkish delegation participated in the sacrificial project’s implementation, as they visited many IDPs’ large camps during the field distribution.
Furthermore, the Turkish delegation affirmed their great solidarity and support for the Yemeni people, in their ordeal that left behind one of the worst crises in the world. They expressed their great delight at contributing to bringing joy and delight and restoring smiles to thousands of families covered by the sacrificial project this year.
It is worth noting that the sacrifices project is part of CRB’s ongoing efforts implemented in various fields of humanitarian and relief projects in a number of Yemeni governorates.
