Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) Achieves Fruitful Results in First Half of 2024

Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB), in collaboration with CARE International, successfully implemented a training course titled “Training of Water Management Committees and Sustainable Management of Water Projects” in Marib’s eastern and western Al-Qawz sites, and the Al-Jazeera site for internally displaced persons (IDPs).
This initiative, part of the Integrated Response Project for Food Security, Livelihoods, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene in Marib Governorate, aimed to:
– Enhance food security, livelihoods, and access to water, sanitation, and hygiene for affected communities
– Build local community capacities
-Train community committees on operational maintenance, budget design, and management of water projects
The course benefited 16 trainees, members of community committees in IDP camps in Marib Governorate. By empowering local communities, the training aimed to ensure the sustainability of development projects in IDP sites and activate the local community’s role in development
