Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) launched, today, Thursday, the school bag project in Aden governorate, in ongoing efforts to support education and enhance the stability of the educational process in Yemen, and will include 6 Yemeni governorates.

The project, funded by the Turkish Religious Foundation, was launched under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Zaouri, and in the presence of Humanitarian and Charitable Works executive director at TRF, Mr. Mustafa Ardeem, and the specialist in the Humanitarian and Charitable Works Department, Mr. Muhammad Baha Al-Din, and a number of  civil society organizations leaders in Aden.

The project included the distribution of integrated school bags that include all school learning materials, and   school uniform for male and female students of the most needy families, for a number of (1,000) male and female students in Aden, as part of the first phase of the project.

The school bag project aims to support education and enhance stability for male and female students from families suffering from difficult conditions in the most affected communities,  stemming from the deterioration of the living conditions and the exacerbation of the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.

In addition, the head of Coalition of Relief and Building, Dr. Kamal Al-Qudami, expressed his great happiness at the launch of the school bag project in Aden governorate, stressing the importance of such important projects in improving the lives of poor families and contributing to providing part of their needs, and alleviating their burden caused by the ongoing war in the country.

Al-Qudami said in a press statement to CRB   Humanitarian Media Center, “CRB works through its humanitarian and development projects to enhance stability for affected families in Yemen, especially in governorates that suffer from high pace of displacement and difficult conditions.” He hoped that the project will contribute to improving the educational conditions of students in the governorate, and enhancing their opportunities to obtain a good education.

CRB Aden Office director, Mr. Muhammad Hadi, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the official authorities in Aden for their continuous cooperation in implementing humanitarian and relief projects in different fields

It is worth noting that the school bag project will cover the governorates of Aden, Hadramout, Taiz, Marib, Hodeida and Al Mahrah , as 5,000 integrated multi-varieties bags will be distributed for the most affected social groups of displaced families and the host community,.
