CRB’s exterior relations office team, headed by the office director, Mr. Khaled Hamid, and the exterior projects officer, Mr. Ali Ahmed, visited Bashir Association in Turkey today, Monday, to discuss ways of joint cooperation in the field of humanitarian projects.
The visit aimed to introduce the programs and projects CRB implements in the humanitarian and development fields with the support of international associations and organizations, and to discuss the humanitarian situation in Yemen.
Bashir Association’s projects director and Yemen Projects coordinator, both welcomed the meeting, appreciating CRB’s efforts in providing tangible humanitarian projects to affected communities in the country.
The meeting addressed a number of important topics, regarding the humanitarian situation, reviewing the challenges and difficulties facing the Yemeni people under the current circumstances, and discussing humanitarian needs and ways of cooperation and coordination in order to provide projects to those affected.
Bashir Association team in Turkey expressed their desire to visit Yemen in the coming weeks, to coordinate the implementation of urgent relief projects, in light of the increasing IDPs needs for basic materials, as the severe cold waves of winter are at the door.
For their part, CRB’s exterior relations office team expressed their thanks and appreciation to Bashir Association, for their interest in the humanitarian situation in Yemen, and their great efforts in contributing to supporting those affected in various Arab countries suffering from conflicts and natural disasters.
