Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) launches emergency response project for the IDP’s affected by floods in Marib

Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) launched emergency response project for the relief of IDP’s affected by floods and torrential rains in Marib.
Under the scope of emergency relief project, CRB distributed 500 meals among affected IDP’s in “Al-Sitt refugee camps”, and 60 tarpaulins in ” Jaw al-Naseem al-Gharbi refugee camp” Marib.

These emergency relief activities are in response to the humanitarian appeal of the local authorities, the executive unit and the people affected by flood and torrential rains in Marib. Affected people appealed for an emergency action to alleviate their suffering and fulfilling their urgent needs.

It is noteworthy that the Marib Governorate witnessed torrential rains and floods during the past two days , which affected 16,735 internally displaced families in total, 5,287 families were highly affected by the floods and lost their houses and belongings completely, while 11,484 families were affected partially.
