Coalition of Relief and Building Visits OCHA Office in Marib

A delegation from the Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) visited the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Marib as part of efforts to strengthen partnership and coordination with international organizations operating in the humanitarian field.

During the visit, Mr. Yahiya Qahtan, CRB Grants and Partnerships Officer, met with Mr. Osama Bitar, Director of the OCHA Office in Marib, and Mr. Niyazi Salman. The meeting included an overview of CRB’s mission,  along with an introduction to its key projects and activities implemented in 2025. These encompassed both emergency responses and sustainable interventions across multiple priority humanitarian sectors.    

Mr. Bitar expressed his appreciation for the projects implemented by the Coalition of Relief and Building, commending the efforts made to deliver humanitarian activities across multiple sectors and highlighting their positive impact on affected communities.

It is worth mentionining that this visit forms part of CRB’s broader efforts to enhance its institutional presence and expand its partnerships with United Nations agencies and international actors, in a manner that contributes to the development of humanitarian action and promotes a more effective and transparent response.
