The Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB), supported by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), has launched the seventh round of its project to provide life-saving emergency food assistance for the most vulnerable and flood-affected  IDPs in Marib.
This round targeted 530 displaced families, comprising  approximately 3,710 beneficiaries across eight camps in  Al-Jaw Al-Naseem area.
The intervention placed particular emphasis on supporting women, persons with disabilities, and those facing heightened vulnerabilities, in line with principles of gender equity and accountability to affected populations (AAP).
Through the distribution of cash assistance, the project aims to empower displaced families to meet their immediate food needs and enhance their resilience against ongoing livelihood challenges, especially following the significant damages caused by recent floods.
Dr. Ezz Adin Methqal, CRB Director General,
emphasized that this round reflects CRB’S sustained commitment and active partnership with the Yemen Humanitarian Fund to mitigate the humanitarian crisis in Marib, alleviate the impacts of natural disasters, and improve the living conditions of displaced families.
