Eid Al-Adha Sacrifice Project Brings back Joy to Thousands of Yemeni Families
July 3, 2025Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) has successfully concluded its Eid al-Adha sacrificial meat distribution project for the year 1446 AH. The project targeted eight Yemeni governorates and benefited approximately (77952) of the most vulnerable families across various Yemeni regions. The project was made possible through the support of humanitarian agencies and charitable individuals from several countries.
The project extended its reach to eight governorates, including Hadhramaut, Marib, Taiz, Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Al-Mahrah, and Hodeida, where residents have been severely affected by the ongoing conflict, resulting in widespread displacement and dire living conditions. The sacrificial meat project aimed to provide critical relief to poor and displaced families during the Eid al-Adha holiday season, addressing some of their most essential needs.
Dr. Kamal Al-Qudami, CRB President, expressed his overwhelming happiness with the project’s success. He highlighted the importance of such initiatives in improving the lives of poor families, contributing to meeting some of their needs, and alleviating their suffering.
Dr. Al-Qudami added, “The project is part of CRB’s annual efforts to alleviate the suffering of families affected by the war and deteriorating living conditions. We’ve ensured that support is delivered with dignity and in a timely manner, and we’re committed to strengthening partnerships to further expand our humanitarian response.”
Moreover, Dr. Al-Qudami praised the efforts of those in charge of this exceptional and large-scale project and those working in the field. He commended the efforts of the project team, volunteers, and supporters who contributed to its success.
Despite the exceptional circumstances the country is experiencing, Coalition of Relief and Building remains dedicated to its mission of providing effective humanitarian responses that address the needs of the most affected groups in Yemen through its ongoing projects in various fields.
