Dr. Kamal Al-Qudami, CRB’s Head, and Mr. Mohammed Makharish, its Secretary-General, welcomed the Director of the Executive Unit for IDPs Camps in Marib at CRB’s General Headquarters on Tuesday.
The meeting focused on providing essential support to internally displaced persons and securing sacrificial animals for them amidst challenging circumstances, to ensure that aid reaches those who deserve it.
The discussion also centered around the Anatolian IDP Camp project, a pioneering humanitarian cooperation model that implemented by CRB aiming at providing a safe environment for displaced families in Marib. They also reviewed the project’s previous achievements and the possibility of providing land for the construction of new residential villages for the most affected social groups.
The Director of the Executive Unit praised the CRB’s vital and sustainable projects, which significantly alleviate IDPs’ suffering.
For his part, Al-Kudami expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Executive Unit Director for his commitment to humanitarian projects and his constructive efforts to meet IDPs needs. He emphasized his commitment to ongoing coordination with official bodies and local authorities in the governorate to achieve joint cooperation to achieve the goals and meet to meet IDPs needs in the best possible way.
