We are witnessing with great concern the devastating impact of unprecedented torrential floods and prolonged rainfall in Tihamah, Yemen. The disaster has claimed 22 lives, injured 57, and destroyed or damaged over 7,000 homes, leaving thousands of families without access to basic necessities.
The humanitarian situation is dire, with approximately 2,000 heads of livestock lost. In response to this catastrophe, the Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) launches an urgent appeal for humanitarian intervention.
We call upon international and UN organizations, partner agencies, and supporting organizations to respond to the plight of the affected populations. We urge you to provide emergency relief to the displaced and affected in the devastated areas.
