Today, Tuesday, a delegation from the Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB), led by Dr. Yousef Al-Darwani and representatives of the CRB Humanitarian Media Center, met with United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator (OCHA), Mr. Rashid Al-Dubei, at the Marib Governorate Office.
The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for cooperation and joint work in humanitarian fields, foster partnerships with international organizations operating in Yemen, and introduce the CRB’s Humanitarian Media Center’s programs, projects, and activities.
Mr. Al-Dubei welcomed the CRB team, praising their efforts in delivering tangible humanitarian projects with significant impact. He emphasized the importance of enhanced collaboration to provide humanitarian and development services, promoting community recovery and better serving target populations.
The meeting touched on a number of important topics related to the humanitarian situation in Yemen, the role of humanitarian media in reporting the true picture of people’s suffering, and ways to enhance the positive roles of humanitarian work, which contributes to alleviating the repercussions of the Yemeni crisis.
The meeting discussed the possibility of benefiting from the experiences and capabilities of international organizations in the fields of humanitarian media. As well as opening channels of communication with the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen, to enhance humanitarian and development roles between organizations.
The CRB’s team expressed gratitude for Mr. Al-Dubei’s efforts to alleviate the Yemeni crisis and appreciated the productive meeting.
