Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) has implemented an emergency relief project to support those affected by recent floods, landslides, and torrential rains in Hays District, Tihamah region, Hodeida Governorate. This initiative is generously funded by ”Yetimler Vakfı” and ” Vefa Köprüsü Derneği”.
The project entailed the distribution of: 222 food baskets to provide essential necessities for 222 families, benefiting 1,330 individual, and222 shelter bags containing basic items like mattresses and blankets to the most vulnerable groups
CRB’s intervention aimed to respond to the call of those affected in Hays district, and to alleviate the suffering of flood-affected families, who have endured extensive damage and displacement.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to CRB and its supporters for this humanitarian gesture, which has helped mitigate their suffering.
It is worth mentioning that recent torrential rains and floods have devastated multiple Yemeni governorates, including Hodeida, Hajjah, Taiz, and Marib, causing catastrophic damage to homes, infrastructure, and livelihoods.
