Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) launches a food basket distribution project in many governorates

Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) has launched a food basket distribution project in the governorates of Abyan, Lahj, Al Mahrah, and Marib, as part of Ramadan projects. Funded by “Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı”, the project targets poor and needy families in the most affected areas during the holy month of Ramadan.

The project consists of a multi-item food basket and targets 2,000 poor and needy families, including displaced and those with special needs families, during the holy month of Ramadan. It aims to enhance food security and alleviate suffering in areas severely affected by the country’s deteriorating living conditions.

During the launch, the Director of  CRB office in Aden, Mr. Muhammad Hassan Hadi, expressed his happiness with the implementation of the food basket project, stressing that CRB is committed to supporting needy families and providing their basic needs during the holy month of Ramadan. 

This project is part of a series of Ramadan projects launched by CRB in several Yemeni regions, focusing on improving living conditions and supporting vulnerable families.

It is worth mentioning that throughout the year, CRB provides critical support to affected communities through projects in development and humanitarian fields, demonstrating its dedication to addressing the needs of those affected by the crisis in Yemen.
