The secretary-general of Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB), Mr. Mohammed Makharesh, along with the director-general of the Forum, Dr. Ezz El-Din Mithqal, received today, Wednesday, the Studies and Economic Media Centre head, Mr. Mustafa Nasr, and the executive director of the Center, Mr. Mohammed Ismail, at the CRB main headquarters in Marib governorate.
The meeting was attended by the Humanitarian Media Center director, Dr. Abdul-Wahhab Nasr, and discussed the humanitarian situation in Yemen, the gap between humanitarian needs and the funding plan for response projects, and the policies of humanitarian work in the country.
The meeting touched on a number of important topics related to the humanitarian situation in Yemen, the role of humanitarian media in reporting the true picture of people’s suffering, and ways to enhance the positive roles of humanitarian work, which contributes to alleviating the suffering left by the Yemeni crisis.
The meeting also provided an introductory overview about Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB), and discussed the humanitarian and development projects it implements in cooperation with civil society organizations and international institutions in many different regions of Yemen.
To be added, Mr. Mustafa Nasr expressed his great admiration for CRB’s projects, capabilities and abilities to reach communities, to provide humanitarian services to different social groups, expressing his readiness to establish partnerships and joint cooperation in implementing sustainable humanitarian projects and economic recovery projects for the less fortunate people in communities.
On the other hand, Mr. Mohammed Makharesh extended his thanks and appreciation to the Studies and Economic Media Center head, for his efforts and great interest in presenting many policy papers and economic studies, as well as training and qualifying Yemeni journalists in various fields. He expressed his happiness with the fruitful and purposeful meeting.
