In recognition of their great role in the success of CRB’s projects in various fields, Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) organized a special celebration today, Thursday, to honor volunteers who have made distinguished efforts in many fields of relief and humanitarian work.
The honor event was coinciding with the International Volunteer Day, that is on December 5, to highlight their role in the field work, as they were part of CRB’s long-years and giving-full developmental journey in relief and development work.
During the honoring, CRB’s director general, Dr. Ezz El-Din Mithqal, expressed his deep thanks and gratitude to the volunteers for their ceaseless efforts, pointing out that volunteers are the corner stone of the humanitarian and relief work carried out by CRB in several fields.
For his part, CRB’s Marib office, Mr. Sultan Akiri, praised the prominent role of volunteers in the field of humanitarian work, as they have set the most wonderful examples of giving and dedication to serve all communities’ categories.
In a statement to CRB’s Humanitarian Media Center, Akiri said, “The great day dedicated to volunteers is a recognition of their efforts in providing humanitarian services to those deserving them.” He expressed his ”thanks for the great role they played during the course of humanitarian and development work.”
It is worth mentioning that Coalition of Relief and Building works to promote the values of volunteering in community, in order to enhance communities’ ability to face challenges and contribute to achieving sustainable development goals and that stem from the belief in the greatness and nobility of humanitarian work and its lofty message.
