Today, Wednesday, the Relief and Building Forum (CRB) team met with the Director of the Rural Water Authority in Marib Governorate, Dr. Ali Saif Hadal, to sign a draft and discuss the implementation plan for the integrated response project for food security, livelihoods, water, sanitation and hygiene in the governorate, which came with funding from the Danish  organization DANIDA through CARE International.
The meeting, which was attended by the Forum’s Grants and Partnerships Unit Officer, Mr. Yahya Qahtan, and the Director of the Marib Branch, Mr. Sultan Akiri, discussed ways of cooperation and joint coordination between local organizations and government institutions, to facilitate the implementation of projects that touch the needs of society.
The meeting dealt with the nature of the humanitarian projects implemented by the forum, with the increasing need for basic services in rural communities, especially areas where the displaced are located.
In the meeting, the Director of the Rural Water Authority praised the efforts of the Coalition of Relief and Building, and the positive role it plays through the implementation of projects in various fields, especially those that meet the needs of beneficiaries and contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.
The project aims to rehabilitate community assets, including water, sanitation and hygiene infrastructure, improve food security and livelihoods and provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene in the governorate.
