Marib – 25 October 2023

On Thursday, the CRB Coalition of Relief and Building carried out integrated shelter bags for a number of displaced persons most in need in displacement camps in Yemen’s Marib governorate.
The shelter pouch consisted of a tent, mattresses and kitchen utensils to meet the needs of displaced families who do not own adequate shelter for the next winter’s cold.
During the implementation, the Director-General of Coalition stated that the project would cover the need of some newly displaced families in need of cold shelter and help them overcome their current plight, noting that the Coalition’s project management attached great importance to marketing and implementing projects to meet the needs of displaced persons, especially in the cold season and the attendant spread of communicable diseases, which exacerbated the suffering of displaced persons.
In conclusion, he thanked the project’s funder (WAMY International Youth Symposium) for their great efforts in assisting their brothers affected by the conflict inside Yemen.
This project is part of a series of relief projects implemented by the Coalition in the Marib camps and the inauguration of winter projects.

A number of beneficiaries expressed their pleasure with this generous gesture from their brothers at the International Symposium of Islamic Youth thanking them and donors for their efforts and great giving..
Stressing that this project will contribute to their stability and alleviate their suffering and that of their children and their disabled.
In a private talk, the displaced person (M. A.K):
“We thank the Coalition of Relief and Building for this generous initiative, which will help us improve our life conditions in the camp.”

“These bags and tents will provide us with shelter, warmth and other basic needs.”
