Today, on Sunday, ceremony of opening the bid envelops for the contracting and supply tender (Tender No. (4-2022) for the ‘’Hay Ataa’’ water well project in Al Jufainah, Marib has been carried out at the headquarters of Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB). This project comes under the Water and Sanitation Cluster, and it is funded by the Kuwaiti Women Philanthropic Team.
The concerned committee opened the bid envelopes in the presence of the bidding contractors and suppliers or their representatives, according to the accustomed procedures which have been stated in the CRB’s announcement about this tender.
The project will include drilling a well, supply and installment of an electric submersible pump, construction of a 75 m³ water tank (tower), extension of the pumping and supply line, and construction of a pump house.
Water services, such as digging deep and surface level wells, restoring old wells, and provision of water tanks to those who are affected by war and compelled to live in IDP camps, are among CRB’s most important humanitarian works for the benefit of Yemeni society as CRB priorities to work in the most vulnerable and neglected residential areas .
