The Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) implemented today a project to distribute 200 school bags to orphans, the most vulnerable families, and displaced people in Dar Saad District, Aden Governorate, with support from the Turkish Red Crescent, as part of efforts aimed at supporting the most vulnerable families at the beginning of the school year.
The project was implemented in the presence of Mr. Selçuk Öztürk, Regional Director of the Turkish Red Crescent for Asia and Africa; Mr. Ahmet Korkmaz, Head of the Turkish Red Crescent Mission; and Mr. Mustafa Burak Ön, the Mission’s Financial Director.
Representing the local authority in the district, the distribution was also attended by Mr. Mohammed Ali Saif, Director of the Executive Unit for IDP Camp Management in Dar Saad District, and Mr. Zaid Al-Shami, Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in the district.
The project aims to provide essential school supplies to children from the most vulnerable groups, contributing to easing the financial burden on their families and supporting their continued education, particularly amid the difficult economic and humanitarian conditions facing displaced and highly vulnerable families.
The project comes within the framework of the humanitarian interventions implemented by the Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) in partnership with supporting organizations, with the aim of reaching the most vulnerable groups and enhancing children’s opportunities to access education.
