Over the past decade, Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) has maintained a lasting humanitarian presence, implementing a wide range of emergency and seasonal interventions including cash and food assistance, as well as seasonal activities such as Ramadan programs and Qurbani (sacrificial meat) distributions. These efforts were complemented by sustainable projects aimed at improving infrastructure and strengthening livelihoods, including the construction of housing units and camps, well drilling, water network installation, and the provision of economic empowerment programs for the most vulnerable groups.
Throughout the past ten years, CRB has implemented more than 672 humanitarian and development projects, covering 19 Yemeni governorates. These interventions have benefited over 6,169,805 individuals. Such far-reaching impact has been made possible through the generous contributions and steadfast support of local, regional, and international partners.
Alongside its field achievements, CRB has continuously reinforced its institutional foundations—broadening strategic partnerships, expanding its membership base, and deepening its active engagement within national and international coalitions and networks. This strengthened positioning has amplified the effectiveness of CRB’s interventions and enhanced coordination with other humanitarian actors. Further details on these efforts will be presented in the section on ”Institutional Development and Partnerships.”
It is worth mentionining that the past decade reflects a clear strategic vision based on the following core principles:
– Expanding coverage to reach new governorates and communities, ensuring aid access to all targeted areas.
– Prioritizing developmental and sustainable projects as a supportive and complementary track to emergency response.
– Fostering strategic partnerships with donors and civil society organizations to ensure program sustainability and effectiveness.
– Enhancing institutional performance and strengthening the principles of transparency and accountability.
