On Wednesday, the Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) – Aden Office, conducted an official visit to the headquarters of Mercy Corps in Aden city. This visit aligns with CRB’s efforts to strengthen relations with international organizations and explore partnership opportunities that support humanitarian and development work in Yemen.
During the meeting, Mr. Mohammed Hadi, Aden Office Director, and Ms. Asrar Jawad, Partnership Coordinator, presented an overview of CRB’s work, its activities, and key areas of focus in supporting communities through humanitarian and development programs as well as capacity building. They emphasized the CRB’s commitment to expanding its scope of work through effective partnerships with international organizations.
Dr. Faisal Ahmed Abdullah, Relationship Coordinator at Mercy Corps, welcomed the visit and commended CRB’s vital efforts in serving local communities across various regions of Yemen. He stressed the importance of collaboration among organizations to enhance humanitarian interventions.
Essentially, this visit is part of CRB’s broader strategy to establish new channels of engagement with international and regional partners and to strengthen coordination mechanisms that contribute to more comprehensive and impactful responses to Yemen’s growing humanitarian needs.
