Coalition of Relief and Building Commemorate World Humanitarian Day 2025 in Marib

Coalition of Relief and Building, in partnership with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) – Marib and the Humanitarian Media Center, is organizing a special event to mark World Humanitarian Day, on August 19, 2025.    

The event aims to honor the humanitarian efforts carried out in Marib Governorate and to highlight the stories of aid workers and volunteers who continue to provide assistance to those in need despite numerous challenges. It will also shed light on the importance of both international and local cooperation in addressing the humanitarian crises facing Yemen.

Representatives of local authorities, international partners, and civil society organizations, alongside prominent media and social figures will attend the event. The program will feature official speeches and tributes to humanitarian workers.

Organizers emphasized that humanitarian work in Marib—and Yemen as a whole—serves as a lifeline for millions, and honoring these efforts is a recognition of all those who contribute to alleviating suffering.
