June 3, 2025Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB), Aden Office, hosted a delegation from Al-Amal Microfinance Bank yesterday, Wednesday, in a bid to bolster humanitarian and development cooperation. The delegation, comprising Partnerships Officer Jalal Saeed and Projects Officer Hesban Al-Rasmi, met with CRB officials to explore ways to strengthen partnerships between the financial sector and humanitarian institutions operating in Yemen.
The meeting focused on collaborative efforts to implement development projects targeting vulnerable groups, particularly in light of Yemen’s escalating economic and humanitarian challenges.
Mohammed Hadi, Director of CRB’s Aden office, commended Al-Amal Bank’s pivotal role in supporting civil society organizations and humanitarian agencies, praising the bank’s commitment to sustainable impact projects.
Hadi welcomed the meeting as a positive step towards expanding cooperation between CRB and Al-Amal Bank, emphasizing the importance of partnerships with national financial institutions in addressing humanitarian challenges and providing effective support to local communities.
Al-Amal Bank representatives affirmed the bank’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote sustainable development and provide innovative financing solutions. These solutions aim to enable target groups to build stable income sources and achieve self-reliance, ultimately contributing to Yemen’s development and stability. Through this partnership, CRB and Al-Amal Bank can work towards a brighter future for the people of Yemen.
