Coalition of Relief and Building Organizes Eid Gift Activity for Employees
April 8, 2025Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) successfully concluded its seasonal Ramadan projects for the year 1446 AH, targeting various humanitarian and development areas in several Yemeni governorates. With support from humanitarian agencies, these projects aimed to alleviate the suffering of needy families.
CRB’s implemented Ramadan projects encompassed various sectors, including food security, support and protection for families, in addition to development projects in education, water, and health.
A total of 88,380 individuals from 14,460 families in vulnerable communities in the governorates of Marib, Hadhramaut, Taiz, Aden, Al-Mahrah, Abyan, Lahj, and Sana’a benefited from these projects.
Food security projects included food baskets, iftar meals, and dates distribution, benefiting 10,179 families (62,695 individuals) in IDP camps and affected communities.
Education projects benefited 3,020 families (18,118 individuals). Protection projects, included Eid clothing, cash assistance, and sponsorship, benefiting 794 families (4,764 individuals) from poor and deprived families and those affected by the war in IDP camps.
Water projects benefited 465 families (2,790 individuals), while health projects benefited two most affected families (13 individuals), as they received surgical and medical assistance.
Dr. Kamal Al-Qudami, CRB’s Head, expressed his great happiness with the success of the Ramadan projects, highlighting their vital role in improving the lives of poor families, meeting some of their needs, and alleviating their burdens amid the ongoing war in the country.supporting.
Dr. Al-Qudmi also expressed satisfaction that the projects reached such a large number of families during these challenging conditions facing communities. He extended his sincere gratitude to the funding partners for their instrumental support, which significantly contributed to easing the hardship faced by Yemeni families and providing them with essential necessities during the holy month of Ramadan.
