Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) participated in the “Solutions at Marib Governorate Level” workshop, part of the Area-based Solutions to Displacement Project. This collaborative effort between the Yemeni government and United Nations organizations aims to address displacement issues.
The workshop, implemented by the Executive Unit for IDP Camp Management in partnership with UNDP, FAO, IOM, and UNHCR, brought together representatives from international and local organizations, humanitarian partners, civil society, and government agencies. CRB was represented at this workshop by Dr. Ezz Addin Mithqal,CRB’s Director General.
The workshop discussed the priority areas for development solutions at the district level within Marib Governorate.
The goal was to achieve a detailed agreement among the priority areas for the local durable solutions action plan and to assess needs in the governorate.
The workshop produced a draft development plan for the most important priority interventions in Ma’rib Governorate, to be approved and incorporated into the governorate’s strategic plan for the coming period.
