In the presence of the local authorities represented by the Director General of  Social Affairs and Labor Office in Marib ,Mr. Abdul Hakim Al-Qaisi, and the Shelter and Accommodation Officer of the Executive Unit for the IDPs Management  Camps, Mr. Ali Al-Marqab, Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) inaugurated  “Thawi Al-Himam Alalia Village” projec (Strong-willed Individuals’ Village) today, Sunday, in Jaw Al-Naseem area in Marib for displaced persons, particularly those with disabilities. Being part of CRB shelter projects, this project is funded by the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), and aims to improve the lives of displaced persons in Marib, provide them with an integrated housing environment to meets their needs, protects their dignity, and support sustainable development.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Al-Qaisi expressed his thanks and appreciation for the  efforts of CRB and WAMY in establishing vital shelter infrastructure for displaced persons.  He emphasized the project’s immense importance due to the essential services shortage  in Marib.  
On the other hand, Mr. Ali Al Marqab praised the project describing it as a vital service to displaced families in the governorate due to the harsh living conditions and deteriorating housing in various camps. He stressed the importance of the sustainable projects that contribute to restoring stability to affected families. 
Furthermore, Dr. Ezz Addin Mithqal, Director General of CRB, stressed that the “Strong-willed Individuals’ Village” project aligns with CRB’s overarching vision to create a safe, sustainable, and supportive environment for internally displaced persons. This project aims to significantly enhance their quality of life amidst the ongoing conflict and deteriorating living conditions. Dr. Mithqal highlighted that the village serves as a symbol of hope for numerous IDPs with disabilities, offering them a chance to escape the hardships and difficulties they face.
It’s worth mentioning that Coalition of Relief and Building   (CRB) inaugurated the Anatolia Housing Complex for IDPs in  Al-Suwayda at the end of February. The complex comprises 100 housing units with basic facilities to meet their needs.
