The Deputy Governor of Marib Governorate, Dr. Abd Rabbo Meftah, inaugurated Hay Ataa Well Project in Al Jufainah camp in Marib city, which was implemented by Coalition of Relief & Building (CRB) and funded by Kuwaiti Women Philanthropic Team.
Dr. Meftah appreciated the efforts made to complete the project, stressing that the well of Hay Ataa will benefit more than 600 families of the people of Al-Jufaina camp, who are in dire need of it in the absence of water projects in the camp, which is inhabited by hundreds of displaced families.
For his part, CRB General Manager Mohammad Makharesh gave a brief explanation of the components of Hay Atta Well Project and the stages of its completion.
He added that the project consists of “drilling an artesian well, installing an electric submersible pump, building a tower tank with a capacity of 75 m3, in addition to extending the pumping line, the liquefaction line, and building the pump room.”
Hay Ataa well project in Al-Jufaina camp is part of a series of “well-drilling” projects implemented by CRB, which reached 80 artesian and surface wells in a number of Yemeni governorates, in a step aimed at alleviating the suffering of the displaced and host communities.
The inauguration was attended by the representative of Kuwaiti Women Philanthropic Team, Aseel Juban, the representative of Water and Sanitation Corporation in Marib governorate, and a large number of beneficiaries from Al-Jufaina camp in Marib.
