CRB team started field visits to evaluate the damage and monitor the urgent needs of areas affected by storms, and torrential rains in Marib governorate during the past two days.

CRB also distributed urgent cash assistance to a number of affected families that have suffered huge damage and loss during the storm .

The Executive Unit for the Management of IDPs Camps in Ma’rib Governorate confirmed in a report that 449 displaced families were totally or partially affected in two days, including 18 displaced families in Al-Jufaina camp, whose homes (tents – mud houses) were swept away by the floods .

It is expected that the number of affected people will increase in Ma’rib governorate in the coming days because of climate change and the continuation of low atmospheric pressure.
