
Economic Empowerment: CRB Supports a Displaced Family with a Stationery and Bookstore Project
May 21, 2026With the conclusion of the Dhul-Hijjah season and the blessed Eid al-Adha, the impact of humanitarian interventions that have contributed to alleviating the suffering of thousands of Yemeni families has become evident amid the difficult economic and humanitarian conditions facing the country.
During this season, the Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) implemented 26 humanitarian projects funded by a number of partners in several countries, targeting the sectors of food security, shelter, protection, water, and environmental sanitation, in addition to implementing the Eid al-Adha Qurbani Project in eight Yemeni governorates.
A total of 1,945 beneficiaries benefited from food security projects, while 575 beneficiaries benefited from shelter projects, and 742 beneficiaries from protection projects. In addition, 7,175 beneficiaries benefited from water and environmental sanitation projects.
The Coalition also succeeded in delivering Qurbani meat to thousands of needy families in the governorates of Marib, Taiz, Aden, Al Hudaydah, Hadramawt, Shabwah, Lahj, Abyan, and Al Mahrah, contributing to bringing joy to the homes of families during the days of Eid al-Adha.
The Chairman of the Coalition, Dr. Kamal Al-Qadami, expressed his gratitude to the partners and donors who contributed to funding these projects, affirming that the Coalition will continue working to expand the scope of its humanitarian and development programs in a manner that achieves sustainable impact and alleviates the suffering of families in the most affected communities across various Yemeni governorates.
These projects come within the efforts of the Coalition of Relief and Building aimed at responding to the growing needs in Yemen through the implementation of humanitarian programs that contribute to improving the living conditions of affected families and enhancing their ability to cope with various challenges.
