CRB (Coalition of Relief and Building) announces the tender in the field of (construction – supplies) for a Temporary School Project (Thunyān al-Ghanim School) in Al-Kharashi camp, Marib City, Education Cluster No. (2-2021), funded by the Kuwaiti Women Philanthropic Team

Coalition of Relief and Building (License No.302 – Year 2016) approved the implementation of Tender No. 2-2021 for building a temporary school, which consists of six classrooms, an administration office, a store and two bathrooms, roof of the building would be of metal. Additionally, the provision of school furniture, according to the table is also included in the tender.

CRB (Coalition of Relief and Building) requires that bidders must have three years’ experience in the same field, and hold a contract for a similar project with a value of not less than 30,000,000 Yemeni riyals, provided that the bid is in Yemeni riyals, with fees of 7,000 Yemeni riyals (non-refundable), and a bank guarantee of 2.5% of the bid value which would be valid for 90 days bid validity.

CRB confirms that bid opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 10.30 am.

CRB invites contractors and suppliers to submit their bids for the tender, according to the procedures followed in the implementation of tenders.

Tel: 06-303472-, during official working hours, by paying a non-refundable fee according to what is shown above next to each name, starting from Sunday 29/8/2021, and according to the addresses shown below.

Noting the necessity of submitting the bid in a sealed envelope mentioning the name and number of the tender on or before the above-mentioned day and timings to open the envelopes against each tender at the following address (Coalition of Relief and Building Complex- in front of the local council: Telephone: 06-303472).

Noting that the envelopes will be opened at the headquarters of the Coalition of Relief and Building – in front of the local council: Tel: 06-303472, on the dates specified above, against each tender at the same hour and day mentioned above. Envelops will be opened in the presence of the suppliers and contractors who have applied or their representatives, and any bid submitted or received after this date will be rejected and will be returned to its owner as received.

Emphasizing that the applicant must bring a copy of a valid tax card, a valid trade certificate, a copy of a valid sales tax submission certificate, a copy of a valid insurance and zakat card, and applicant must be committed to pay the tax according to the tax laws of the country.

He stressed on the need of submitting the bid with an unconditional bank guarantee or an open cheque against each tender starting from the date of opening the envelopes, according to the above-mentioned amount and validity period. Any bid that is not accompanied by a bid guarantee will be rejected.

It is required that the bid should be submitted in the above-mentioned currency and any bid submitted in a different currency will be excluded.

Pointing out that “The organization is not obliged to accept the lowest bid or any other bid, and the announcement can be found on the website of the Coalition of Relief and Building.”
