The Deputy of Shabwa Governor, Salem Subaih Baawadah, and the Director General of Maifa’a District, Mr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Khars Bafqir, along with \u00a0CRB’s Secretary-General, Mr. Mohammed Makharash, inaugurated\u00a0 Azzan well in Shabwa Governorate yesterday, Saturday, which is being implemented by CRB and funded ”T\u00fcrkiye Diyanet Vakf\u0131”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

The project consists of an artesian well, a collection tank, a pumping line, and an electric pump. This initiative is part of the CRB’s efforts to support infrastructure development and provide basic services to the local community, addressing environmental and humanitarian challenges in the region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the opening ceremony, the Governor Deputy praised the CRB’s efforts and those of the supporting parties for their development support and humanitarian projects in Shabwa. He stressed on the importance of the project in providing clean water and meeting the population’s needs.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

The Director General of Maifa’a District also praised the project, highlighting its significance in alleviating the suffering of the local residents that has continued for many years.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the other hand, the CRB Secretary General, Mr. Mohammed Makharash, stated, “The\u00a0 project\u00a0 are part of a series of projects implemented by CRB in Shabwa Governorate, with the aim of supporting the infrastructure and providing basic services to the local community to meet the environmental and humanitarian challenges facing the region.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

\u00a0Makharash hoped that this project will contribute to achieving\u00a0 goals of sustainable development objectives and improving the quality of life for citizens, and that it will have a positive impact on the beneficiaries of the displaced and the local community.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

It is worth mentioning that this project will contribute to providing drinking water to hundreds of families with limited income, poor and needy displaced from various governorates, who lacked clean water, and suffered from transporting it from distant places.<\/strong><\/p>\n
