On Sunday, CRB (Coalition of Relief and Building) participated in the shelter exhibition which was organized by the National Cluster for Shelter in partnership with the Executive Unit of the Management of IDP Camps, Marib. Exhibition aimed at the selection of suitable shelter model and its approval for all humanitarian organizations.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Abd Rabbo Miftah (Governor Marib) accompanied by John Wayne (Senior Coordinator of National Cluster for Shelter, Yemen), Saif Muthanna (Director Executive Unit for the Management of IDP Camps, Marib) and other representatives of different humanitarian organizations participating in the exhibition.

Different sections of the exhibition were visited by visitors, and they were briefed about shelter models presented by various humanitarian organizations participating in the exhibition. Visitors learned about the components, costs, and suitability of each model for a dignified life in IDP camps.

The model presented by CRB (Coalition of Relief and Building) received great appreciation from visitors and participant organizations. Moreover, John Wayne (Senior Coordinator of National Cluster for Shelter, Yemen) also liked and praised CRB’s shelter model.

The exhibition aims to get evaluation of all the models presented by member organizations of Shelter Cluster by a specialized technical committee so that the most appropriate model can be selected and recommended to all member organizations.

It is worth mentioning that the CRB (Coalition of Relief and Building) has contributed immensely during the current year 2021 in alleviating the suffering of 627 vulnerable families by implementing 14 projects in the field of shelter and accommodation.
